SPRING VACATION HOMEWORK

1. OBLIGATORY

Homework due:
  • 4A- Monday 13th
  • 4B- Wednesday 8th
  • 4C- Thursday 9th
Create a poster (in English) about León. You need to do a poster about the city of León to help a tourist person to know more about your city. You can write information such as, for example:
  • Climate and where it is in the map
  • Places you recommend to visit in León (What to see in the city)
  • Typical food in León (What you recommend to eat)
  • Important events and festivities
  • Some history about the city
REMEMBER: Add pictures, drawings and colors to your poster.

DON'T FORGET!: When you google information from the internet, you should only copy information you understand. MAKE IT SIMPLE!

SOME EXAMPLES:

2. OPTIONAL (But, VERY RECOMMENDED)

Print this 2 documents and practice reading this high frequency words often, as much as you can. It will help you read and write English much better, PLUS it will help you prepare for 5th grade!

Sight words 1 (High frequency reading words)

Sight words 2 (High frequency words)

As I said this is optional. We will be working a lot with reading and writing on the 3rd trimester so this words will be a great help for you.

If you go to PAPELERÍA RUBÉN, you can ask Cristina to print this 2 documents in a BOOKLET form so it looks like a book of words.

3. OPTIONAL

Read a book from the ones in the BOOK SECTION of this blog.
Reading is fun!

ENJOY YOUR VACATION TIME!
