Easter eggs hunt and craft

This week we had been talking about Easter  (the fun and children friendly part of it) and we did a few activities around it:

1. We watched the story of Pepa Pig as an introduction to talk about "Egg hunts". Egg hunts are enjoyed by many children at Easter time. They get to go with their baskets to find chocolate eggs hidden in different places and to eat them. Yummy yummy!

2. We went egg hunting in the bilingual class! You can see here some videos and pictures of the winners that finally found the eggs!

Animals: Fantastic creatures

After learning sooo many things about animals in the Science and English classes, we created our own fantastic creatures mixing 2 animals. Some of them look pretty scary and others look real cute.

*Frogfish
*Snelephants
*fishbull

Portraits with fruits

This week we had been creating portraits with fruits like the artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo. It was a great experience and I can already see some artists around!

Totem poles

Last week we learned about Totem Poles and their meaning in the Art class. Did you know that back in the day all Indian families had a totem pole that differenciate them from other families?
We created our family totem poles so our families also have one. Hope you like them!

St Valentine's day

Who doesn't like St Valentine's day?

We talked about the general idea of the festivity and our version of it. It is a day to express the love you feel for each and every love one you have in your life: your friends, your family, your teacher, etc.

After talking about it we created our own card and gave it to our love one.
