About Me

Hi everyone!

My name's María José. I am a primary school bilingual teacher from Asturias, a province situated in the northern coast of Spain. I had been teaching for 6 years in Primary schools in Spain, 2 years in England and 2 more in the United States. I am currently teaching ESL in CEIP Moreno Espinosa, a school in the village of Cebreros, Ávila.

I am a firm believer of the great benefits that bilingualism brings to the future generations and I devote my daily work and effort to make the most of the time I have with my students so they get the best bilingual education possible.

I love to create fun and engaging lessons! I always try to add hands-on and projects in all of my lessons. I believe that if you let your students create their own product, they will make real life connections and put in practice what they have learned. I am also a big fan and user of teamwork and groupwork in my classes. Cooperative learning based.

I hope you can find ideas and good resources on this blog!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you come visit again!
